However, we have yet to hit 1100, but I suspect we might.

As I suspected, the market made another high, but I'm still sticking with my intermediate term indicators that say this is simply a retracement and we will continue to see lower highs and lower lows for many months ahead.

Notice too the direct relationship between oil, the euro, the S&P to that of the dollar.

I know you are bearish on oil, but unless you've had your head under a rock, there is no way the S&P makes new highs without the help of oil. Undoubtedly, you'll need to revisit your analysis the next big move for oil down with your bullish S&P stance.

Jeff

P.S. - If I'm proven wrong, who wants one of the 5 copies of Carl's book?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04586265457583579477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12333088.post-3120337041748978662010-02-16T13:09:21.891-05:002010-02-16T13:09:21.891-05:00Carl,

I've seen a lot of bearish bloggers on other sites getting run over as they keep pushing their calls for a top higher and higher. We are now resting on the 20 sma on the daily. If the 20 can get above the 50 and we can close over the 1100 resistance I'll eat my losses and reload on the long side. Thanks, as always, on your take of the markets (even if it's not what I want to hear right now).Moby Pixelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10940148317014870720noreply@blogger.com
