So this new bull is still young.

On the other hand, assuming there was no bear market and that the bull market that started in Mar. 09 remains intact, this bull market has had many corrections bigger than 7%, including 2 corrections close to the 20% mark; there have not been many bull markets in the history with so many significant corrections, if any. This means this bull has probably more room to run and the comparison with the duration of the average bull is not appropriate in this case.bmghhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16640196961885509971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12333088.post-43614428463802288072012-09-20T18:24:10.280-04:002012-09-20T18:24:10.280-04:00Carl, I kind of disagree with you. I know by definition (it has to exceed 20%) it will not qualify as a bear market, nevertheless Europe, Canada, Australia, Asia all these markets suffered a drop well in excess of 20% in 2011. We can safely say that in 2011 there was a bear market. If we look at it this way the current bull market is only 12 months old, a very young bull indeed.Billhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15515218349376008994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12333088.post-86045846769596313652012-09-20T15:07:18.449-04:002012-09-20T15:07:18.449-04:00thanks for the update carl, does that still "...thanks for the update carl, does that still "fit in" with the doomed house pattern? thanks againmikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01972229980734537390noreply@blogger.com
