Guesstimates on September 9, 2010

December S&P E-mini Futures: Switching to the December contract today. Tomorrow it will be the most active contract. Today's range estimate for the December contract is 1097-1108. The ES is headed for 1140 and higher

QQQQ: Headed for 47.50.

TYX (thirty year bond yield): The thirty year yield has dropped well below long term support at 3.85%. I think the market is at a juncture like that of December 2008 - fast drop in yield that will be followed by a fast rise. The bonds will soon begin a move to 5.40%.

TNX (ten year note yield): The 10 year yield has dropped more than I expected. Still, I think the next big move in yields will be upward. I think that the notes will soon begin a swing up to 4.50%.

Euro-US Dollar: Support is at 126.00 and from there a move into the 135-40 zone should start.

Dollar-Yen: The yen broke decisively below its 85.50 support. A drop into the 78.00 - 79.00 range is underway and I think an important low will form in that zone.

October Crude: I still think crude oil is headed for 50.00.

GLD – December Gold: The odds are that the market will continue upward to 1320. But any weakness below 1150 will mean that a drop to 875 has begun.

SLV - September Silver: I think silver will rally to 21.50 and then begin a move to 10.oo.

Google: The 440 level is now support. A move that should take GOOG above 700 will begin soon.

Apple: Should reach 350 (at least) before the bull market ends. Support is at 240.

Carl,

I don’t want to continue to talk about the pay site, but last night I thought about what everyone wrote on your blog some 60 messages and I think Dcat makes some valid points…. Yes, I agree that $25/mth is a good deal, but it all comes down to what do I as a member get for this $25? Some members may just want to join to take every trade you post and there is nothing wrong with that, but what if someone is confident and thinks you will make them hundreds of thousands $$ based on your experience and they start trading blocks or units and you have one bad week and BOOM they blow out their account! Well, even though $25 is small change, they just blew out their account by taking your signal! So, to Dcat’s defense I think he wants to see your daily results because in the end when you pay for a service it all comes down to how much money are you gonna make!

Does it matter if your service costs $25/mth and only net $5000 a year for one member as opposed to paying $250/mth and net $100K a year in their account… What im trying to say here is people are willing to pay more if the results are higher!

Also, you say that this is a seminar and will teach people why you went in on the trade, etc…. Do you also tell members what indicators u look at or show them your screen that u trade off of…. How will a member see what ur seeing or learn from u if you don’t give them everything… I don’t know since im not a member, but I think these are some concerns people may have!

Best of luck… ex

2 gap-up days last week...looks like we will have a panic gap up today. We have strong (buy)sentiment by definition.

I am buying more today and SITTING TIGHT.

EX: that is exactly what I was trying to say and my words did not fit. I also apologize to Carl and other folks here. I did get a bit shook up and it is not my style - - usually. I support Carl in his initiative and I thought about it this morning and feel that at least he is doing something while many of us just watch. It takes a lot of work on his part and indeed, $25 is a bargain ESP if Carl offers some details and sends us on our way to being better traders WITH some new ways to determine ranges..and I continue to support Carl in that his ranges are really good and something I would love to learn to achieve on my own.

Again, I am sorry for the seeming rants and I DID try to control my responses and Carl, I do hope you understand.

DC,

Kudos to you for what you said in your post above.

Carl lists some of what you'll learn in his seminar here:

http://www.carlfutia.com/what_you_will_learn

(Maybe this is something he just added to the side, or maybe I just missed it earlier)

DC.

I begin to like you. We (me for sure) are all human and we do funny things from time to time and make us (me) all look stupid.

PimaCanyon,

The "syllabus" was there from day one hence my previous comment ".....Carl clearly delineates the SCOPE and purpose of his seminar for the prospective pupils....".

But it is never too late to notice!

I am sure Carl would love to pupils learn what they can and graduate accordingly.
