Here is an updated chart of the daily number of advancing issues on the New York Stock Exchance. I commented on this indicator just yesterday.
Today's reading of 2576 is the highest number seen since early June 2004, 18 months ago. This tells me that the advance from the October lows at 1168 in the cash S&P is far from over.
