Good short...more to go as there is little support here....but a pullback will likely happen as usual. I am waiting to short the SPY at 114 or 115 (buy puts) with my partner who already made $6600 on one trade since last week with same price levels...I was out of that one due to chop. Now, I will wait until Monday post options expiration and work my other options into the close tomorrow...
Treasuries: Treasuries have rallied this morning, the 2s are yielding 0.484% (thoughhit an all time low of 0.4796%) while the 10s are yielding 2.563%. The 2-10 spread is yielding 2.079%. Fed unveiled size of recent purchases - bought ~$3.6B of $21.89B submitted (size bit larger than expected); also recieved size of next wk's auctions ($2B more 5s and $1B more 7s than expected)Obama is supposed to make a statement on the economy “shortly” according to a Reuters headline @ 12pmETFed’s Bullard speaks @ 1pmETUS Initial jobless claims for the week ending August 14 increased 12,000 to 500,000 from an upward revised 488,000 in the prior week. This is the highest level of claims since the week ending November 14, 2009 and the third straight week in which claims have been above the levels seen throughout most of the year. The 4- week moving average for initial claims increased 8,000 to 482,500 Thank you for giving a Great Day!
1069 again for me was seen as great support (FLOOR).No more downwards.Till tommorow ,we 'll be desperately waiting for your analysis but if closes above1079 which we are anticipating,would confirm a bullish reversal wk.With greatest thanks for giving us wisdom.
